The City Government of Kidapawan has officially launched the SmartKidapawan digital platform, marking a significant milestone in the city's journey toward becoming a smart city.
The platform integrates real-time weather monitoring from PAGASA, earthquake alerts from PHIVOLCS, passenger heatmaps, and emergency services coordination into a single unified dashboard.
"This platform represents our commitment to leveraging technology for better governance and improved public services," said the City Mayor during the launch ceremony held at the City Hall.
Residents can now access vital city information, monitor weather conditions, and receive emergency alerts through the platform. The system also features integration with the Bureau of Fire Protection and the national 911 emergency hotline.
